Plumeria Rubra (White Frangipani/ பெருங்கள்ளி or ஈழத்தலரி)
This flower's fragrance especially during twilight hours, is mesmerizing. We used to have so many these short flowering trees near our hostel mess; in front of one old abandoned south facing house near Adyar over bridge. Where ever i see these flowers while travelling, i keep gazing at them almost straining my neck till they are in sight.

I simply love this smell. I used to blindly recite Champakashokapunnaga saugandhi kalasatkacha. Only now I realized it is the very same flower that was there in Palace Guttahalli around the doctor's house where I stayed. I loved doing my pranayaams on the terrace in the evenings or mornings savouring its divine fragrance.
